Take a stroll through the peaceful countryside of L'Aiguillon sur Vie.
If the sun is shining and the heat is on, we recommend that you explore the No. 1 or No. 2 cycle routes, as the many shady paths along the way keep you cool.
Most of the route takes you through colourful countryside, with wheat and maize plains dotted with oak trees, ferns, etc.
Things to see and do along the way :
- Notre Dame church (19th century), fully restored
- Pays de Saint Gilles golf course (18-hole course, driving range, restaurants).
- Picturesque neighbourhoods: fountain and communal wash-house
- A little further afield: Lac du Jaunay (walking trail around the lake, 40 hectares of natural areas, picnic areas)
