If the sun is shining and the weather is hot, we recommend that you explore these No. 1 or No. 2 cycle routes, as the many shady paths keep you cool. You'll cycle through colourful countryside with wheat and maize plains, dotted with oaks, ferns, etc.
Things to see and do along the way :
- Notre Dame church (19th century), fully restored
- Pays de Saint Gilles golf course (18-hole course, driving range, restaurants).
- Picturesque neighbourhoods: fountain and communal wash-house
- A little further afield: Lac du Jaunay (walking trail around the lake, 40 hectares of natural areas, picnic areas)
