CIRCUIT TRAIL : ENTRE RIVIÈRE ET DUNES

1 Depart from the Petit Mousse hut for a warm-up along the river.
You'll walk along the Promenade Narcisse in the heart of a bright, peaceful setting.

2 Turn left and walk 50m up the road to the footpath entrance (on your left), which takes you into a wild, unspoilt setting between the dunes and the river. This is where your encounter with the Espace du Jaunay begins.

3 Gradually, the path invites you to enter the heart of the dunes, temporarily moving away from the river. To add a little difficulty, the trail takes you through a very sandy section. Enough to make your calves warm up a bit.

4 You will then find the main access road leading to the beach. After this short technical passage, turn left to return to the banks of the river.

5 Following the path that runs alongside the River Jaunay, you'll then move on to a very bucolic setting. On one side, the river and its wooded area in the background, and on the other, pastures.

6 At the end of the path, turn right towards the campsite and you will enter a beautiful wooded area. As you pass the Sauzaie stables, you may be lucky enough to spot a few horses.

7 Turn left and head downhill towards the Sauzaie beach. Once you reach the car park, turn around. Take heart, you're halfway there!
