LE PETIT TRAIN DE SAINT HILAIRE DE RIEZ

Welcome aboard!
Since 1993, in July and August "Les petits trains de Vendée" have been offering fun ways to discover the town of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie and its history.
Whether you're young or old, a family or a group of friends, become a passenger on our trains and take a gentle ride through our coastal landscapes.
For around 1 hour, enjoy a guided tour and a soundtrack to immerse yourself in our heritage.

The Corniche Vendéenne:
You'll set off from the village of "Sion", where you can still see some of the most beautiful buildings from the 1990s, before tackling the beautiful Corniche Vendéenne, which offers a unique panorama over the ocean as far as Saint Gilles Croix de Vie.

In JULY and AUGUST:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3.30pm and 5pm.
Friday 11.00am, 3.30pm and 5.00pm.

In SEPTEMBER:
Saturdays and Sundays (except 8 September)15:00 and 16:30.

Night walk :
A guided discovery along the rocky coast before enjoying (for 2 hours) the funfair, shops and atmosphere of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie on the quayside.
In JULY and AUGUST: Wednesday and Thursday 8.15pm.
Thursday departure from Avenue de la Pège 85270 Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, near the Mouettes beach.

Sunday walk :
Treat yourself to a guided walk along the Corniche Vendéenne before enjoying the market in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. Free time: 2 hours.
In JULY and AUGUST: Sunday 10.00 am
Departure from Avenue de la Pège 85270 Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, near the Mouettes beach.

Our trains are all equipped with a roof, which is useful in the hottest weather, and a mackintosh in case of bad weather or cool evenings.

Tour times may vary depending on the period and traffic conditions.
Bookings must be made 30 minutes before departure with the driver of the little train!
All departures are from rue Lucien Collinet (near the water sports centre).
