This cycling loop reveals the rich landscapes of the Jaunay.

BOUCLE N°15 – GIVRAND

Before setting off on loop 15, we recommend that you pay a visit to the charming church of Saint Jean Baptiste. Once you've made your introductions, it's time to explore part of the commune by taking one of Givrand's many cycle paths.

It won't be long before you leave the charming housing estates for the rural countryside. Before you reach the heart of the Jaunay marshes, the loop takes you to the edge of the Jaunay and Sauzaie dunes. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a tête-à-tête with the Jaunay river. During the summer months, the river is bustling with the comings and goings of paddle-boarders and kayakers!

You'll return to the church along a pleasant cycle path that winds its way through the various streams and pools of the Jaunay. You'll be able to admire some stunning views to your right!

Things to see and do :
- Church of Saint Jean Baptiste (19th and 20th centuries)
- Discover the Jaunay marshes
- The Jaunay bridge
- Maison de la Cour (former manor house with 17th-century entrance door)
- Archaeological crypt (Merovingian and medieval burials).
