Born of the fresh encounter between Lucille Moussalli, Amaël Billard and Armand Pesnel at the Paris Conservatoire, the Filtre Fraise trio is coming to St Jazz sur Vie to play its acid harmonies and other smoothie notes. With original compositions and (free) jazz fruit, the three young musicians offer a varied set of tunes accessible to all.
This atypical group will be taking you on a journey with their trumpet, clarinet and double bass.

Formed in 2022 by former students of the jazz department at the CRR in Angers, the trio's shared desire is to follow in the long tradition of guitar combos (Jim Hall, Bill Frisell, Julian Lage). The trio format is ideal for encouraging interaction between the musicians. The group develops its universe through compositions and reinterpretations of standards.

For the past two years, L'Atelier école des arts de Saint Hilaire de Riez has brought together groups of amateur musicians to play jazz and improvised music. Two combos will be present with different aesthetics.
Come along and support them as they discover their repertoires and enjoy playing in the context of the festival.
