Exposition “Entre Sommets et océans”

It was her first teacher, Master Roland Brémand, who gave her the taste and techniques in his studio. She then went on to study with Isabelle Lamour in Nantes, before spending years practising in the Nantes workshops of the Société Artistique de l'Ouest. After a string of exhibitions, she became a professional painter in 2012. Since then, her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions, mainly in the Pays de Loire and Savoie regions. Her preferred technique is dry pastel, a spontaneous art form with a luminous finish that she uses to depict ocean reflections or mountain light. Isabelle Alberge works from her own travel photos, revealing a natural, untamed world where man is absent. "My work inspires calm and serenity.
