Exposition “Au fil de l’eau”

Whether it's the 'dry' technique used for sketchbooks, or the 'wet' technique, I like to see the water creep over the paper, disappear into its fibres and leave only a pigmented trace, the only witness to its passage.

and requires you to trust not only the technical knowledge you have acquired, but also the pigments that find their way spontaneously, the paper that is properly moisturised, the brushes that are full of water, but also, and above all, chance. That's the secret. This way of painting allows me to tackle more abstract subjects such as the atmosphere of a place, the rustle of grasses in the wind, the trickle of water, the coldness of winter.... a whole range of sensations that you will find again... in the course of this new exhibition... Au fil de l'eau."
