A4

The starting point for this new creation is based on the number 4. My creative work is mainly based on instinct, which guides me in my choice of ideas, music, performers and collaborators, although experience and expertise are essential.

4, my favourite number, quickly inspired me. For this creation, I took on board performers from a wide range of backgrounds. A hip-hop dancer, a contemporary dancer, an acrobat and an actor. 4 different dancers with different backgrounds, to multiply the possibilities of this quartet even more, the possibilities of movement, the possibilities of play. 4 times more. A4, a step of 4 that folds into 4. 2 and 2 make 4.

Of course, I want this new project to be a delightful proposition
where dance plays with theatre, circus, humour and poetry, always aimed at a wide audience, which is the essence of my artistic project. - Philippe Lafeuille
