CIRCUIT POUSSETTE À SAINT GILLES

1 The walk begins with a crossing of the lock that gracefully spans the River Jaunay.

Before the Avenue de l'Atlantique roundabout, use the pedestrian crossing to turn off onto the left-hand side of the road. This is followed by a walk along the Promenade de la Vie. You'll have a direct view of the marina quays.

3 After contemplating the ballet of pleasure boats, continue your journey along the Promenade Marie Beaucaire. This is an opportunity for your little tribe to enjoy the scenery between the fishing port and the wooded dune. At the end of the path, the Josephine Tower awaits you for a memorable face-to-face encounter.

Once you've been introduced to the emblem of the Croix de Vie district, the tour continues straight ahead. The section that takes you to the tip of the pier is ideal for a breath of sea air. It's a 1km stretch to be ridden along with the wind and waves. Between the long beach and the Baie de l'Adon, all around you is a sparkling cocktail of landscapes.

5 Once you've reached the lights at the quay, make a complete U-turn. The rest of the route takes you upwards along the Marina Tsvetaeva path. A short climb will reward you with a 380-degree view. A panorama that dominates the coastline and landscape of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled!

As you walk down the lane, fork directly to the right and head for the St Gilles embankment. The next step is a long stroll, one-on-one with the blue immensity of the ocean.

7 At the end of Avenue Maurice Perray, turn left into Avenue du Pont Neuf.

8 Your journey ends with a leisurely stroll along the Avenue de l'Atlantique.
