An unmissable place in the VENdée
The Puy du Fou was named the Best Theme Park in the World in 2014 and Best European Theme Park in 2019. At this theme park, you can expect to see several impressive shows suitable for people of all ages. It is only around one hundred kilometres from the Pays de Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, making this an absolute must-see while you’re staying in the Vendée.
The Puy du Fou is open from April to November, come and spend one or more days here.
Surprising natural scenery
The green, natural surroundings of the Grand Parc are particularly impressive. Between two shows, take the time to wander around the parks and gardens, each with its own theme, including a rose garden and a vegetable garden. Then take a stroll around the traditional villages.
The Cinéscénie
Puy du fou’s unmissable evening show
The Cinéscénie was first created in 1978 and so far has been performed to 12 million spectators. It’s the biggest evening show in the world. An impressive 4,000 volunteers work hard organising this show every Friday and Saturday evening from June to September.
2,550 actors portray scenes from 700 years of history, on a 23-hectare stage with mind-blowing sets, costumes, lights, water jets and special effects.
We recommend you book your tickets early because the Cinéscénie is a very popular event. Make sure you book your tickets well in advance.
