The old bread oven was purchased in 2010 by the commune of La Chaize Giraud. It has been restored using traditional techniques, with refractory stone and natural clay bricks strong enough to withstand temperatures ranging from 300 to 400 degrees.

LE FOUR À PAIN

Every year, on Bread Day, local residents are invited to bake their own bread in the communal oven to share a moment of conviviality and enjoy a delicious loaf baked over a wood fire.
