Discover the river and marshes of the Jaunay, as well as the landscapes of the Vie basin.
The Jaunay et Vie trail begins by following the course of the Vélodyssée along the banks of the River Jaunay. Soon enough, through the commune of Givrand, you'll reach the Jaunay marshes. It's an environment that's striking for its peace and quiet and for the richness of its biodiversity. Leaving Givrand, you'll enjoy riding along a long stretch of gravel roads to the gates of the commune of La Chaize Giraud.
After a pleasant heritage break at La Chaize, the route will reveal some pleasant surprises, with a few technical sections in wooded areas and a short trip along the left bank of the Gué Gorand lake.
The route ends with a tête à tête with the salt marshes of Saint Hilaire de Riez. For the grand finale, the river La Vie will accompany you all the way back to the centre of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie.
