"It's Diogenes - who was a homeless man, by the way - in his barrel berating the world, as if to say, "How did we get here?" It's really very admirable and worthy of Aymeric and his artistic integrity, because it's not a sexy subject or character on paper. Not that many people are interested. And he chose this very theme because it's an artistic challenge to bring it to the stage and get the audience on board.
