All he has of an ogre is his character and his voice.
With his deep, gravelly voice, he sings about his life as a grown-up whose certainties are often turned upside down by the questions of the youngest members of his family.
Halfway between Le Roi des papas, The Muppets Show and AC/DC, this is a funny, playful concert format, performed by four multi-instrumentalist singers who use their bodies and offbeat words to tell the story of the moods of this ogre's voice, which isn't scary because it's a paper ogre.
In song, you can tell anything, invent anything. To tell a story is to create images, to create the imaginary. Songs transport you to another place, move space and time, and recreate a world.
