PARCOURS DE DISC GOLF – PARC DES GENETS

HOW TO PLAY
The aim of the game is to throw the disc (Frisbee) from the tee to the basket. The winner is the player with the fewest throws over the whole course, which in this case consists of three baskets.

DISC GOLF RULES

First basket:
Each player in turn throws their disc from the starting point, aiming for the basket.
The player who throws the disc furthest from the basket does so again, and so on, until each player has succeeded in putting his disc in the basket.

For the following baskets :
The player who made the fewest shots in the previous round starts to throw.
When the disc leaves the course, the thrower must position himself where the disc left in order to throw. A penalty point will be added to the score.

It is imperative that each player takes up a position behind the thrower. We would also draw your attention to other users of the park, who have priority. Please make sure that no-one is in the path of or near the basket before you throw.

Breakage or loss of a disc will be billed. The equipment loaned belongs to the commune of Brem-sur-Mer. Please

The commune of Brem-sur-Mer makes frisbees available to park users for disc golf outside the summer period in the Parc des Genêts.
This service is provided free of charge. The Tourist Information Office in Brem-sur-Mer is responsible for reserving and lending the frisbees during its opening hours and outside the summer period. It is forbidden to play frisbees during the months of July and August, as well as during events in June such as the fair and the music festival. Frisbees must be returned before the Tourist Information Office closes. Loan free of charge.

A document presenting the game and the safety rules will be distributed to each team of players, who must read it before starting the game.

Players agree to read the document outlining the basic safety rules for playing Disc Golf:
- Players stand behind the starter;
- The thrower checks that no-one is in the way;
- Other users of the park have priority;
- It is strictly forbidden to shoot in the direction of the road.

The Tourist Information Office will keep the identity card of one member of the team as a deposit throughout the game. This is returned when the discs are returned to the Tourist Information Office.

Loss or breakage will be charged at €10 per disc. The team leader accepts the booking conditions and undertakes to reimburse the commune, by cheque made payable to the Trésor Public, in the event of damage, loss or breakage of equipment.
