CIRCUIT GRAVEL – LE MARO 70′

Man-made since the Middle Ages, the Marais Breton Vendéen is a unique landscape of canals, wet meadows and vast marshes. With migratory birds, traditional livestock farming and salt production, it is both wild and inhabited. This new tour takes you right to the heart of this living heritage!

Departing from Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, the route takes in the villages of Le Fenouiller and Saint-Révérend, offering a great overview of the Vendée bocage. It then takes cyclists on a journey through the heart of the Marais Breton Vendéen, punctuated by emblematic stages.

This route is aimed at cyclists with a little experience or those looking for a little challenge. A large part of the route from Saint-Jean de Monts follows the signposted mountain bike route, with many technical sections.
